I am Najia.
I come from a country where the seasons have many colors!
I am proactive, adventurous, determined, and intrepid.
I like to read, travel, and discover the world.
At Women Encouraging Empowerment, I made a lot of new friends who are from all over the world.
At WEE, everyone is very kind, caring and helpful.
I met a great teacher and staff.
At WEE, I learn to live to improve my life, to understand the U.S. system, the U.S. laws, and to understand my rights and duties.
I know how to paint, act, garden, and teach French.
I speak Arabic, French, Amazigh and now English.
I have the right to education, justice, freedom, good government, and dignity.
If I wasn’t a French teacher, I would be an interpreter or a journalist.
This is not my poem, this is just my description.
I have another poem to share. I call it, “Liberty”.

“Liberty”
I am just a woman
but I have a BIG dream
I want to fly far
So far, like a bee, like a butterfly
But I am just a woman
I can just talk and talk
My giant wings
Prevent me to walk
This is me, I am Najia.
