PARENT LEAD ORGANIZERS
Parent Lead Organizers or PLO are parents and community members who are taking on an expanded role in improving education and community engagement in Revere school district and devoting extra time for an elevated leadership role in WEE's organizing activities. The group meets twice a week to discuss ways to create a good family engagement policy for Revere Public Schools and they're also planning to work on a handbook for parents that proved to be successful in other communities. The group currently represents around 100 parents in Revere with children in public schools across the city and in various grade levels.
"Behind every successful student is not only a good teacher and school, but also an active and engaged parent"

WEE Parent Leadership Training
Our effort is to develop immigrant women leadership in our communities. This trainings are free educational experience to our parents that empowers them with skills to become effective advocates for themselves, their children - in schools, communities and their families.
Organizing and Advocacy Program
We host educational workshops on the structure and operations of the USA government, key issues affecting refugee and immigrant communities, the USA education system, engaging in the democratic process, and strategies for advocacy. We want to ensure that the refugee and immigrant community has representation at city budget conferences and other critical decision-making meetings.
We advocate for clients’ access to the services they need to become self- sufficient through each of our programs. We rally and personally meet with our legislators — and do so peacefully, vibrantly, and effectively.
